APPLICATION
PURPOSE
The purpose of this organization shall be to bring together and support professional women of achievement and influence to network ideas, experiences and resources; to increase visibility and to promote recognition of women's accomplishments; and to enhance the image, prestige and power of women.
MEMBERSHIP
Membership eligibility is based on a combination of education (post high school) and/or professional experience totaling a minimum of seven years. The applicant must currently serve in a management position, practice her profession, or lead in community events/organizations. Or another modification - leadership position in her profession and/or in the community, or practice her profession”
Membership is open to persons in the Middle Georgia area who have qualities that include the following but are not limited to:
Persons who are recognized by their peers as successful and/or leaders or future leaders in their field and/or community;
Persons who have demonstrated increasing involvement in work-related and or community related activity;
Persons at a middle or upper‑level of decision‑making who have a support base of personal talent, human resources, organizational resources or persons identified as having potential for gaining such influence.
RESPONSIBILITIES OF MEMBERS
- Regular attendance.
- To serve on committees in order to contribute to the growth of the organization and to expand their personal network.
- To read and adhere to the By‑Laws and Standing Rules of the organization.
- To participate in the election of officers and the Board of Directors.
- Sponsor new members, not to exceed two in any calendar year from the same organization.
- Phone in regrets when unable to attend regular monthly meetings or special functions.
- Responsible for costs of guests and timely payments of dues.
- Initiation Fee ‑ $50.00; Semi‑Annual Dues ‑ $150.00 (Annual Dues Total is $300). Membership subject to termination for non‑payment of dues.
